John O'Sullivan is an Australian engineer and the inventor of Wireless Network or WIFI for short. He moved to the Netherlands, creating the basis for all PHD Telescopes. Back in Australia, O’Sullivan worked with CSIRO and made major contributions to the company as well as Australia.

“Wireless networks existed, but we thought we could create an indoor wireless network that was as fast as the best wired network at the time, which was a fibre optic network. That ran at 100 megabits per second,”
